Anony- It varied from month to month w/ TOS because of the lack of shares to short and obviously the number of traded made per month. It would ranges from 1500 to a bit under 3k on the high side there.
Even when trading out of multiple accounts there before going full time commissions were all over the place based on short availability.
Having switched to IB its .005 vs .015 less in commissions/share however their short availability is huge so i would imagine id probably save about 1/3 overall vs TOS
Nice comment on 9/4 from Muddy about the focus of this blog and the chat room.
Thanks everyone for the nice comments. We are trying to crank it up a notch as we go along. We are looking for NEW/FRESH plays all the time. Nothing wrong with the old same ones at all.it's just that ones that are "new" to you expand your stock knowledge base. You have to understand that almost all these "new" ones aren't new to me, I've been trading so long I know tons of stocks from the past. When they rear their head up every now and then it's nice to remember them...sorta like GBE today...an oldie I knew well in past. This is what we are trying to bring on,plus angles not commonly known for these under $10 stocks, pennystocking if you will.
