SIL UPDATE and LAST NIGHTS WATCHLIST KICKED BUTT!

Added another $4k short on the SIL green pop today at 2,coming down from 2.17.
I'm in now with $14k worth,average around 2.55 with 5400 shares.
At the closing price today of 1.72, gain is about $4400 so far.

With the dow up 500 points,still last nights watchlist smoked it,
24 watches, only 7 finished in the green.
The most amazing thing is,out of the 17 that finished red......11 were double digit losses with 6 red 20% or more.

SIL UPDATE

Just so everyone knows how I stand..

I added a 3rd full position today on the green spike on the way down at 2.49...now in over $10k with 3400 shares @ average price of 2.95.
With the 1.97 close at lod today up $3330.

This was a TRUE supernova,no way I scalped for .30 cents or whatever on just 1 full position...these don't come along often.
I said many times in chat I thought we'd see the 1's by Monday or Tues,today we did

IDEV hit a high of 3.80 just a little later.
I took 45% on the first trade from 2.02 to 2.90 and 16% from the 2nd trade, 3.05 to 3.55.
Total of 61% or $2400 from a stock that was no where near any of my watch lists until it hit pre after 9am Friday.

This is the kinda stuff that let Mike13th grow his account to $350k from $50k in a matter of months.

NMGC down another 36%,wow
SIL continues down... to 2.56,chopped off another 20% today
VRML a watch 9/23 and 9/24 had that 3 day pattern,big 2 day run then open gap 3rd day then later in day went red where a few caught it in the 2.10/2.20 area got crushed today to .90 down 58%.
This pattern continues to be one of the best,especially for huge gains...imo if you are trading on a small account,these are the ones to wait for/play.
Leave the banks/financials to those who can afford to take the gamble with the larger accounts.
One big bad hit on those with the small acct can leave you with nothing to trade...no kidding.

Also from last nights watches UQM FRG JYHW finally cracked and all have more downside left imo.

And lastly there was TRX.
Yeah you are probably getting tired of hearing it a regular reader but it is simply amazing.
But I'm not tired of shorting it right out of the gate when it hits pre leader board.
Up 18% in pre it opened from yesterday close .24 to .28 and finished down 21% to .19 at lod.

There's some real fine ones out there tonight..ones I've traded in the past both long and short..bring on the open!

First, I have been asked why I keep so much in my trading account( $60k as of now ) if I only go in $3k to $5k on a trade,at most...ones like ANPI so I can hold,and freewheel with others,this is turning out to be one of the best of '08.
2 day spiker(eod too both days) it went green to red on the 3rd day AFTER A GAP UP OPEN from 1.45 to 1.59 THEN WENT RED.
This 3rd day pattern on red is one of the most reliable there is imo.
Shorted on red at 1.35 on 9/19 it now sits at .59

Another thing and if you know me I rarely watch intraday charts but on "live" bottom plays like FRE has been I gotta watch the action.
First in long FRE @ .55 on 9/19 I sold @ 1.20 for a double +,no real big deal,that happens, but the thing is with the charts... it sat there forever at 1.19/1.20 making up it's mind,as soon as it started getting super jiggy at 1.21,I was cetain to go back in long there,what WAS my previous sell point.
It closed at 1.32,no big deal again not the big a run BUT all these gains add up!
Because the volume was pouring in I held to open Wed...whether right or wrong,the 1.21 re enter was easy money imo..if not greedy,as I admit I am,quick 9% profit on what I think was very good risk/reward is easy to take.

I understand if one is hampered by the pdt rule this can't be done..unfair,for sure, but the way it is for now.

Big red day all over...our short watches no exception.

22 out of 25 of our watches red with 14 of those reds in double digits.
For penny players PRXZ got clobbered down to .01
DPHIQ finally showed red today...might be start of nice fall.

Again as per chat,TRX is just a pure stone cold $$ maker when it hits the pre leader board.
Today it was up 70% in pre,opened at .39,I got in short at .34,it actually finished RED at .27.
I'm 12 for 13 using this angle with many large gains...so far it just keeps working.

On Friday we hit an all time high of 139 folks in chat.
A team effort to say the least as most of us were stalking and trading the same stocks.

Thurs alerted HBAN long at 8.50...it hit a high of 11, closing at 10.50! (the 2 buck kid on both!)
Also Thurs he alerted CORS long at 6, it closed at 7.35 and Fri closed at 7.94 after hitting hod of unreal 10.58!

Friday alert by JV was whack:

And on 9/10 (I won't forget because I hopped right in,never saw until his alert,oh yeah I crib off you folks:) JV said BQI was dropping fast near 3...it hit a low of 1.68,that day,that is just crazy!

Airlines nice drop for the shorts today.

KAZ from last nights watches just fine all day drop,plenty of borrows too.

RBCN, a watch 2 days ago, a perfect example of a red candle at or below the lbb that gets a pop up,then goes back to stinking it up.

TRX did it again!
On the pre market leaders today which I saw at 30% up it tanked wicked right before 11a.m...look at that candle!
Once again I don't why this happens with it...but just keep doing it... 8/9 so far on this angle and I'll play everytime I see it...the gains have been very big a few times,just a great angle so far.

PROFIT taking Tuesday for me.
From the ones listed in past days I've been in short,some great gains and I took most of them.

PTN from .30 to .22 for 27%
COINW from 2.80 to 2.30 for 18%
NBS from 1.59 to 1.35 for 15%
BEEI from 1.25 to 1.05 for 16%
UDRL real nice gradual from 17 to eod close of 13.60 for 20%
URRE so predictable from 3.10 to 2.05 for great 34% consistent drop.
TGIC my top watch for Monday,I caught 2 days in a row green to red action.
14% Monday
21% today...what an animal turnaround.

And TRX as pointed out by Mike 13th on his 2 TRX posts here 2 weeks ago.
Same old trick today, on premarket leaders it gapped up from close of .60 to .68 open...shorted it at .59 to .45 (closed near lod at .41 on a mil shares) for easy 24% profit.
A few in chat saw this action too and profited from it.Very nice...remember chat logs are posted every night, Thanks to Dale!!

The best one I am still holding.
As I posted last night .. "Shorted CHCI again today at .73, closed nice at .62..... holding!!I shorted CHCI at .73"
Now sitting with 40% profit with the close at .44.

Adding to profit was the call on RAMR last night......

CHFI LBMH were nice but spreads weren't good..oh well that happens.

The LOWER BOLLINGER BAND AND SHORTS

What I really like to see are stocks that get their first initial nice pop off the 20,2 LBB.
GLA on 8/29 is a good example.It went to the UBB 3 days later and predictably sold off.
LCCI went from LBB to UBB in 1 day, then got hammered.
You don't find these everyday so it's just another little angle to maybe make you some cash.

The bread and butter of the LBB in the role of shorting though can be found almost everyday,many days more than one or 2.
But only if you can watch premarket (always a catch,huh?).
Find the ones up at least 5%,the higher the better of course, chart them as they hit the leader board.
Find the stocks that are at the LBB.
Many of these will sell off after their initial spike off the leader board.
Try it on paper...watch how many of these will drop 3-5% OFF their then hods,then continue down another 5-10%+.
It ain't gold but it's consistent week in week out decent profits.
Just another angle but they all add up.

This is what I said Wednesday:

"Not many LCCI short type come along.
This was at LOWER BOLLINGER BAND on 8/28 when it rocketed 170% the next day to .59
Now it's at .224,shortable on IB last 2 days.
I will have a post over weekend about the role of LBB on these kind plus what the LBB means in relation to the big premarket runners.
If I could only short 1 type of stock ,,,this by far is the best imo...it blows away said "supernova's"
Day in and dayout."

Well Friday this thing was unreal...cruising along green at .23 at 10a.m, in 20 minutes it is crushed to .05, closing at .12.
I will try to get a post up tonight about the LBB and shorting.

I jumped in TGIC out of the gate..on watch last night...huge gain
RAMR from red to green on watch last night also. Big
UDRL a watch also,got in short.Nice gradual drop
COINW URRE also watches ,shorted and still hold.
GBRC as I said Tues in short and still in.From 1.33
IFNY a watch ,shorted and even,holding still
JAGH shorted eod Tues at .36 ,still holding,down a bit at .37 close today.

Called and bought long GBE at 3.80 ,it went nuts to 5 in matter of less than hour!
It had hit my volume scan last night....for you new folks,you really should read the chat logs if you can't keep up to date during the markets hours...it can bring some new stocks to you.

WATCHES 9/4

First off CHCI was absolutey awesome for me.
As I posted last night I was in this at .24 and today cashed out as per the live chat at .895.
I love the shorts but no way you'll ever get this return on a short. EVER
My second long was tiny gain from .70 to .75.... looks like it's got more in AH.

A comment on the blog asks what are the TOP watches,since I do post many.
The answer is what is known as "failures",those that have been on watch short 1,2,even 3 days as shorts and have not hit RED yet.They have "failed" as short watches as they are still in the green.
Patience pays off...keep on watch!!

Not many LCCI short type come along.
This was at LOWER BOLLINGER BAND on 8/28 when it rocketed 170% the next day to .59
Now it's at .224,shortable on IB last 2 days.
I will have a post over weekend about the role of LBB on these kind plus what the LBB means in relation to the big premarket runners.
If I could only short 1 type of stock ,,,this by far is the best imo...it blows away said "supernova's"

BSRC a Beacon pump.held well today,many of theirs sink nice,had good volume.
LCOL weird, 0 vol stock up 100% today on 1.3 mil shrs. huh?

What a day to come back to heavy trading.
This market is so volatile/nuts......I love it.
I've been trading over 45 years now and yes I can watch all these I list...if you are newer just focus on as many that you can comfortably,it's all you can ask until you get more experience.

First the watches for Tues:

PENC BPOP SIGA BDSI COIN BTIM PGOG CRZ LTON STSI GLA UPFC IAR MTG HTM BGP HMX TRX CHCI WMAR DL WUHN

That's the primary list but there are others that have gone red from the last day/days that will still get smoked.

VUOC JMBA STXX NCEN KRY LCCI BIOF TAYD have been good.
LCCI got creamed.
NCEN a great chart watch too, got wiped
STXX dog still doinked.


I caught 2 nice longs today PENC from 1.18 to 1.38 and CHCI from .24 to close .37,still long this,remember it's run from .06 to .52 late July in a few days.

Out SIGA at 4 from 2.80 ...now looking short biased.

LCCI shortable on IB,the top gainer at 168% but spread was bad/awful Friday and gonna gap down Tues no doubt,alot of chatter short about it,BE CAREFUL on that gapdown short if happens,I don't want to get trapped in this either way....watch the spread!
